DeBethune day sign

De Bethunea young watchmaking house recognized by collectors the world over for its fine timepieces, is proud to announce the installation of its new illuminated rooftop sign on the Rade de Genève, opposite the Jet d'Eau. A strong affirmation of its presence and attachment to the world capital of watchmaking.

Standing majestically atop the building at 24 quai Gustave-Ador, on the Left Bank quayside opposite the Jet d'Eau jetty and just a stone's throw from the Pont du Mont-Blanc and Horloge Fleurie, the De Bethune sign now shines on Geneva's famous Rade. Visible from the palaces of the Rive Droite, it sparkles in the heart of this world-famous panorama.

Founded in 2002 in L'Auberson, De Bethune defines itself as the smallest of the big manufactures or the biggest of the small brands... It is internationally recognized by watch lovers for its distinctive aesthetic and the creativity of its watchmakers, who are constantly pushing back the boundaries of the art of watchmaking. Honored with numerous international awards, including the Aiguille d'Or at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève, and boasting a multitude of patents and some thirty calibers, De Bethune reaffirms its attachment to Geneva watchmaking.

By setting up shop next to the Jet d'Eau, the young company is making its mark on the DNA of the world's watchmaking capital... all year round, but also during the high points of Watches & Wonders, Geneva Watch Days, the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève and the biannual auctions.

Pierre Jacques, CEO of De Bethune, says : "By illuminating the majestic Rade de Genève with our name, opposite the iconic symbol of the Jet d'Eau, we are celebrating not only our attachment to the watchmaking city par excellence, but also our commitment to writing the history of watchmaking with boldness and creativity."

To bring this major project to fruition, De Bethune called on Agence M.P. Berthoud, a Geneva-based company that has been a pioneer and leader in the installation and management of prestigious advertising signs in the Rade de Genève for over 60 years. Norbert Nicolau, the company's managing director, comments: "We are very proud to have been able to support De Bethune in the installation of its illuminated sign on the roof of one of our buildings, just opposite Geneva's Jet d'Eau, and to contribute in this way to raising the profile of this independent brand in Geneva, with which we share solid, enduring values of quality and commitment."

Thanks to this sparkling sign, the name De Bethune now shines amidst the stars and other renowned watchmaking and financial houses that adorn the rooftops of Geneva's famous Rade. This addition marks a significant milestone in the young history of De Bethune, inscribing its luminous identity in the very DNA of watchmaking Geneva.
